Kristen Madler serves as the Clean Energy Coordinator at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), supporting global field offices on the design and management of clean energy projects. She specializes in scaling up renewable energy, with experience in grid integration and modernization, energy sector planning, competitive procurement of large-scale renewable energy, and utility business model reform across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Ms. Madler earned a Masters in International Business Administration (MBA) from EADA in Barcelona, Spain and participated in exchange programs with the Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore to study project risk mitigation in emerging markets, and with the University of Edinburgh, Scotland to specialize in carbon management.
